Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
After leaving the Army in 1997, I entered the insurance industry — first as an agent & adjuster and later as a consumer. Over the years, I’ve seen what so many families experience: incomes that stay the same while insurance premiums keep rising. In 2003, I began working as a property adjuster and saw another side of the struggle — families trying to come up with thousands of dollars to pay their Wind/Hail or Other Perils deductible before repairs could even begin.
